Only one week after Ke$ha admitted herself into a Chicago rehab center for an undisclosed eating disorder, the singer’s mom, famed songwriter Pebe Sebert, is making allegations that her daughter’s health issues are due to pressure to be thin from within her own camp.
In an interview with People, Sebel says that Ke$ha’s advisors – including her go-to producer Dr. Luke – put pressure on the pop star to lose weight. Sebel claims that Luke had been telling her she had to get in shape. ”She was exercising and dieting and ultimately doing everything she could, but not getting thin fast enough,” Sebert told the mag. “And that’s when she first became bulimic.”
Sebel also claims that Dr. Luke told a friend that Ke$ha looked “like a refrigerator” on her latest video, and asked her to try and control her weight.
