Dr. Luke’s sister is speaking out on behalf of her brother.
In an interview with The Daily Mail, Vezna Gottwald calls out female artists for not supporting her brother, specifically Katy Perry.
Dr. Luke produced many hits for Perry including “I Kissed A Girl,” “Teenage Dream,” “Last Fiday Night” and “Dark Horse.” She has yet to comment publicly on the situation. “I’ve been thinking why doesn’t Katy Perry stand up… she is his friend?” she told the publication.

Gottwald was also critical of Taylor Swift’s donation to Kesha. “Taylor Swift gave all this money, but it is such a shame that real women that have suffered and gone through that, don’t get to see that money. She should have given it to a rape charity.”
“I find it horrendous there is no other voice other than hers (Kesha) being heard,’ she said “He is just not that sleazy producer that people are making him out to be.”
Kesha was recently denied her request for an injunction against Dr. Luke, who she has accused of sexual abuse. Dr. Luke has denied those claims.
